without words:

classics that speak for themselves, as chosen for you by our invited guests

ninety minutes of wwclassic music radio, ohne worte, without words

a musical key to our guest's individuality.

cynthia wilson

These days, apart from live concerts themselves, something one cannot live without I would assume, the only

real time that can be spent listening to music (in real time) is while attending to the seemingly endless stream

of daily emails, some pressing, many certainly not, many warm from loved ones, some outright silly, unrequited

and always irritating.

This first without words is a small slice of the kind of email background music personally preferred. Unlike in

airports and elevators, the choice is blessedly my own. So perhaps an apt name for this 90 minutes of

music would be 'music for emails' (please excuse me Brian Eno-!). Hopefully some choices will be unknowns

for you, some most certainly soothing favourites. In no way exemplary for my taste in general which would

be hard to fence in, it is an anti pasti of cds that seem to stay put near the media player, within comforting reach.

This said, they have survived despite having to have killed off a myriad of darlings in this process of musical elimination.

Hopefully these tracks will soften the digital blow of inboxes for you; stay awake through Sleep, it has a happy

ending!
